Over the years the Host exhibition has been for us a great opportunity to showcase new packaging solutions specifically designed for the Coffee Industry.This year on our booth we have two very different downstream solutions.
One is a complete end-of-line system including a coffee capsules cartoner and a cobot. The cartoner forms the cartons, places the capsules in a nested pattern according to the recipe, then seals the cartons . At the same time the cobot forms the cases, fills them with the cartons and composes a pallet. This system is extremely flexible and can be easily configured to handle multiple formats and use different cases and pallets.
The other one is a capsule cartoner featuring a bulk filling system. The capsules are conveyed to the cartoner by means of a conveyor, they are fed into a hopper featuring a counting system. Once the capsules reach the right quantity the hopper opens and releases the capsules into the carton. This machine as well can be integrated with a casepacking and palletizing system, or be used as a stand-alone very compact cartoning solution.
