31.10.2023 MAD AUTOMATION SRL AND THE WORK-RELATED LEARNING PROGRAMS

Last October 31st the 3rd year students from the Istituto Tecnico “Franchetti Salviati” in Città di Castello specializing in IT, Electronics and Electric Engineering visited us for a one-day training session.

For about 60 students we organized some classes:

Francesco Maurizi (CEO) and David Volpi (Head of Software Department) presented of our Company, introduced the range of machinery that we design and manufacture and shown the machinery on the production floor that are currently being built and tested.

Nicola Burzicchi (Wiring Diagram Developer) with the students following the Electronics and Electric Engineering courses talked about the design of electric diagrams for industrial applications

Marco Galli (Software Developer) with the IT course students discussed the design and control of network/protocols/communication between devices.

Alessio Viti (Software Developer) illustrated our LGV (Laser Guided Vehicles) with an in depth analysis of how MAD Automation’s Brain software is best used to program their paths and tasks

This is what you call a “Full Immersion” both from a theoretical and a practical point of view, as the students, after the classes, were able to see some Cartoners, Case Packers and one LGV at work

It’s been a fun day too. The students came on their bikes in collaboration with FIAB (Federazione Italiana Ambiente e Bicicletta), to promote a more sustainable way of life and to increase the young generation’s environmental awareness. After lunch and some pictures the students hopped on their bikes to get back to Città di Castello.

The School professors and San Sepolcro’s Mayor Mr. Fabrizio Innocenti participated in the Event and Teletruria dedicated us a full service you find in their site: https://www.teletruria.it/scuola-lavoro-automazione-in-altotevere.html.

We thank everyone for participating.

Last but not least a huge shout out you to our David Volpi, not only in charge of the Software Department but also a professor of Telecommunications, who was the means thorough which MAD Automation and the School communicated and  organized this event.

We’ve always been firm believers in work-related learning programs and we can’t wait to welcome some of these students in our staff in the future, as in the past.
